Conversations about matter, nature, and collective creation in my workshop process
I'm sharing this audiovisual recording of UNIMINUTO TELEVISIÓN which captures the essence of my work in the studio and the reflections that inspired my most recent explorations.
Being immersed in the material—almost letting its presence soak in—is where my creative process truly begins. I don’t control what will happen when I draw or embroider; I let myself be guided by intuition and by the transformative power of the material. From my childhood in the Eastern Plains, I learned to feel the land, the daily life of the countryside, and to observe nature deeply. In these reflections, I share how I navigate between the micro and the macro—from collecting iguana molts and hair donated with love and trust, to observing spores, fungi, and mycelia that remind us that nature has always been the true technology. In a rapidly changing world, I firmly believe in the power of art to raise questions, to bow our heads in humility, and to build collectively. I invite you to explore this space where matter comes to life.
