A mystical and contemplative perspective shared in the group exhibition at the Instituto de Visión
Here's my review of the group exhibition From the bonfire, hosted at the Instituto de Visión. This exhibition explores mysticism, feminine knowledge, and contemplative rituals that have historically been marginalized or judged from perspectives alien to nature. In this space, I presented a body of work born from an almost devotional practice: painting on turtle shells. For me, engaging with these salvaged organic elements is a silent prayer in which drawing and patience enter into a dialogue with fragility, time, and the memory of the earth. I invite you to explore the reflections of this exhibition and to connect with the sacred dimension that dwells in every gesture.
